CAPA 2025-26

The Canadian Association for Photographic Art runs competitions for individual and club members throughout their competition year. To do well in a CAPA competition, one must have three strong images, as the points are combined for a total score.
This year I did well in several competitions. The Triptych competition, held in April 2026 yielded a silver medal for “Horse Power”, “Flash of Carmine” and “Ivory”, with Horse Power receiving a 3rd merit award in nature.

The entries into “Inspirational Colour”, held in Feb. 2026 received an Honourable Mention. The entry was: “Moose on the Farm:, “House Fly Wrapped in Red” and “Cool Sunrise in the Aspens”. The Fine Art competition entries also received an Honourable mention.

The entry (3 images) of “Night Lightning”, Waiting for the Tide and Forgotten Ride received a Bronze medal in the Pacific Zone competition.
